[Version 2026-08-28]
Accepting this offer records which version you accepted and the date. When the offer changes, the version changes and you are asked again — nothing here is agreed on your behalf in the background.

Who this is between
Gleed, the website studio at the address below, and you — the person or business named on the account. The account is opened from an email address, and that address is where every notice under this offer is sent.

What you are buying
One of four packages, or a monthly plan, or both. What each package includes — the page count, the features, and the terms that package is sold on — is printed on its own row on the packages page, and that row is the list this offer refers to. Where a row states a number of revision rounds, that number is the number; where it does not, the count is written into the quote before anything starts, and it is agreed there rather than assumed. Prices are in US dollars.
- [Marker]List $650 · today $395 (−39%) · $358 with Switchboard (−45%)
- [Compass]List $1,260 · today $765 (−39%) · $693 with Switchboard (−45%)
- [Atlas]List $2,520 · today $1,530 (−39%) · $1,386 with Switchboard (−45%)
- [Meridian]List from $5,225 · today from $3,175 (−39%) · from $2,875 with Switchboard (−45%)
Offers do not stack. You always get the lowest eligible price. The Switchboard price applies while that membership is active and is not backdated to work already delivered.
The price and the scope are agreed before anything starts. Work beyond the scope on that row — extra pages, extra revision rounds, a feature that was not in the brief — is new work, and it is priced and agreed the same way before it begins.

Payment is taken up front
50% on signing, 50% on delivery. Signing is the moment the studio accepts your brief and the price and scope are fixed. The first instalment falls due then, and work does not begin before it clears. The second falls due on delivery, before the site is handed over.
Until the studio has accepted a brief and the first instalment has cleared, nothing has been agreed and nothing is owed by either side. If the studio cannot take the work, it says so and no instalment falls due. Once work has begun, the first instalment covers the work done.
Double priority costs 30% on top of the package price — Marker +$119 · Compass +$230 · Atlas +$459 · Meridian +$953. It is part of the first instalment and buys a position in the queue, not a different scope.

The clock starts at acceptance
Turnaround is counted from the moment we accept the brief, not from the moment you send it.
Each package publishes a cap rather than an average: the figure on its row on the packages page is the longest the studio will take, and Marker’s is 48 hours. Double priority halves the cap the row publishes. Meridian publishes no cap, so its date is fixed in the brief instead.
Time the studio spends waiting on you — content, access, approvals, an answer to a question — does not count against the cap.

Whether we have accepted is on your own page
Every request moves through six stages, and the one it is on is shown in your account on your project page, with the date it last changed. Acceptance is the move out of Review. While a request sits in Review it has not been accepted, no instalment is due, and no turnaround has started. You never have to ask us whether we have started; the page answers it.
- [01 · Review]We are reading your brief and pricing the work.
- [02 · Planning]Scope and structure are being fixed before anything is built.
- [03 · Development]Your site is being built.
- [04 · Deployment]The site is going up on your domain and hosting.
- [05 · Testing]We are testing every page, form and device before you see it.
- [06 · Handover]Done — code, domain and accounts are being handed to you.
- [06]
What you own at handover
Your code, your domain, your accounts — yours from day one. The studio registers nothing in its own name and keeps no part of the work hostage: at handover the code, the domain and every account the site runs on are in your name and under your control. That is true whether or not you stay on a monthly plan afterwards.
- [07]
Monthly plans
The plans, what each covers and what each costs are published on the monthly page. A plan runs a month at a time and covers the work its row describes; work outside that row is quoted like any other work. To start, pause or end a plan, write to the studio at the address in clause 01 — there is no self-service billing screen yet, so a message is how it is done.

Your account and your data
The account holds what you told us about your business, the briefs you have sent and the conversation about them. It exists so that you never retype your own business, and the studio uses it to do the work you asked for and for nothing else. You can edit all of it in My business, and everything stays yours: delete the account and it leaves with you.
You sign in with an email address and a password you chose. The studio never sees that password — only a one-way hash of it — and the way back in when you forget it is a single-use link to the same address.

Changes to this offer
This is version 2026-08-28. A published version does not change: when a term changes, a new version is published, and you are asked to read and accept it before the next thing you order. What you agreed to, and when, stays on your account as the version and the date.
The two terms below are the ones you tick separately when you open an account, because they are the two people most often say they did not see:
- [The offer]I have read the offer and I agree to it.
- [The two terms]I understand that the first instalment is due when the studio accepts the brief and that work does not begin before it clears, and that every turnaround is counted from acceptance, not from the moment I send the brief.
